Baseball, Softball Honor Seniors

The Panthers took an 8-7 Region VI-AAA over Georgetown Tuesday on senior night. E.J. McClam went 1-2 at the plate with two RBIs and Austin Montgomery went 1-3 also with a pair of RBIs. The LCHS Athletic Dept and McLeod Sports Medicine will be offering FREE sports physicals for the 2018-19 school year on Saturday April 28 at 10 AM.  This is for rising 9th through 12th grade. The Lake City Panthers held off a late rally by Musselman, WV, Wednesday to take a 4-3 win on the second day of the Mingo Bay Classic at Waccamaw High School. The Lake City Panthers cruised to a 13-3 win over Gloversville, NY, in the opening round of the Mingo Bay Classic at Socastee High School Tuesday. Lake City Sonic will be recognizing two outstanding student-athletes each week during the 2017-18 school year This week’s recipients are Hilshon Bailey and Cortney McFadden.  Bailey, starting as a freshman at catcher for varsity baseball, was 7-9 with 5 RBI at the plate last week including a 5-5 performance against Georgetown.  McFadden had 16 saves
