Stephanie Marie Dawkins and Haleigh-Ann Springs exemplify the ideal Lake City High School student-athlete. Both of these seniors are multi-sport letterwinners while also maintaining a 4.0 GPA. 1) What is your favorite sport and athlete?
HS: My favorite sport is football and Connor Shaw is my favorite athlete.
SD: My favorite sport is soccer and my favorite athlete is Hope Solo.
2) What is your favorite class and teacher? Describe the Class.
HS: My favorite class is anatomy because we study the human body and how it works.
SD: My favorite class is French III and my favorite teacher is Ms. Muldrow. I enjoy this class because she always tries to do something new.
3) Who is the most influential person in your life? Why?
HS: My Nana is the most influential person in my life because even in some of her hardest times, she always looks for a positive outcome.
SD: My Mom is the most influential person in my life because she always pushes me to achieve my goals.
4) What is your favorite Meal?
HS: A super sub and Greek salad from Pizza Roma.
SD: My favorite meal is chicken and shrimp alfredo.
5) What is your favorite athletic event memory?
HS: My favorite athletic memory is when we were playing Manning my 9th grade year and we were tied. I drove in two runs in the 7th inning to win the game.
SD: My favorite athletic memory is when my coach came to me and said, “That’s the best game you’ve ever played!” after I came back from an injury.
6) What is your plan after graduating?
HS: After graduation, I plan to attend USC-Beaufort where I will major in Nursing to become a CRNA.
SD: After graduation, I plan to attend USC-Upstate and major in Pre-Law to later become a criminal defense attorney.
7) What is the best part of LCHS?
HS: The best part of LCHS is when all of the softball girls go to the baseball games after practice and cheer on the boys.
SD: The best part of LCHS is the people who try to make school more enjoyable for the students.
8) How do you want Panther fans to remember you?
HS: I want Panther fans to remember me as the student-athlete who gave 110% in both the classroom and field.
SD: I want Panther fans to remember me as being determined.
