Seniors Desmond McGill and Sierra McGill are this week’s subjects of “Meet Your Panthers”. Desmond has lettered in football, basketball, track, and plans to participate in baseball this spring. Sierra has been a 4-year member of the cheerleading squad.

1) What is your favorite sport and athlete?
SM: My favorite sport is cheerleading and my favorite athlete is my cousin Brianna.
DM: My favorite athlete is Chris Paul and my favorite sport is football.
2) What is your favorite class and teacher? Why is this your favorite?
SM: My favorite class is English and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Howard.
DM: Coach Fleming is my favorite teacher because he keeps me on track with everything and motivates me.
3) Who is the most influential person in your life? Why?
SM: The most influential people in my life are my parents. When I say I can’t do things, they remind me I can do anything.
DM: The person who influences me the most is my Mom. She motivates me to be a better man.
4) What is your favorite meal?
SM: My favorite meal is Shepherd’s Pie.
DM: My favorite meal is baked fish and shrimp.
5) What is your favorite athletic event memory?
SM: My favorite athletic memory is visiting Main Street Elementary on gameday and taking a picture with my cousin and one of her friends.
DM: My favorite is scoring my first touchdown last year against Lakewood.
6) What is your plan after graduating?
SM: After graduating high school, I plan to attend USC-Columbia for my business degree.
DM: I plan to join the United States Navy.
7) What is the best part of LCHS?
SM: The best part of LCHS is that we are able to some activities outside of school like our internships at local businesses.
DM: The best part of LCHS is the lunch.
8) How do you want Panther fans to remember you?
SM: I want them to remember me as the girl who was always willing to help. If they asked me, I was there.
DM: I want the Panther fans to remember my effort and that I always tried hard at everything.
