Lake City Sonic will be recognizing two outstanding student-athletes each week during the 2017-18 school year.

This week’s recipients are junior football player Savion Player and junior volleyball player Taylor Atkinson.

Against Georgetown, Player recorded 10 tackles including 3 tackles for loss to lead the Panthers’ defensive effort.

In the Lady Panthers volleyball match versus Georgetown, Atkinson registered 9 digs and 3 aces.

Mr. Cedric Grant of the Lake City Sonic awarded each student-athlete with a $10 gift card to Sonic.
