Lake City, SC – On a rainy night, Panther fans came out in droves to watch some rivalry basketball between Lake City and Kingstree. The Lady Panthers didn’t disappoint and put together a solid team effort to pick up the win, 48-29.

“I was impressed with the team’s early defensive effort to get an early lead. I saw a lot of positive things before region games begin. We just want to continue to develop and improve each game in order to make a playoff run,” Head Coach Charm Eaddy said.

Led by senior Elantryia Moore’s 12 points, the Lady Panthers had eight total players score points as it was truly a team effort.

Junior Tierra Burgess was the second leading scorer with 11 total points. Burgess just missed out on a double-double as she collected eight rebounds as well.

The Lady Panthers also got together before the game to participate in their annual Christmas cookie competition. The ladies baked and decorated their cookies before distributing them amongst faculty and fans after the game.
