Girls Varsity Soccer · Lady Panthers Volunteer in Community

Lake City, SC – The Lady Panthers Varsity Soccer Team spent Saturday afternoon volunteering at the 3rd Annual Repack the Backpack event. Sponsored by the Great Lake City Community Outreach Center, the event offered community members school supplies as well as products to promote dental hygiene.

Senior soccer player Sabrina Bonilla-Perez felt that the event was a great chance to volunteer in the community while promoting team chemistry. She said, “The Repack the Back Pack event was an opportunity for us to give back to our community. As a team, we have highlighted giving back to the community as one of our major goals this season off the field. We had a lot of fun and were grateful for the opportunity that the Community Resource Center gave us.”

The Lady Panthers will continue their volunteer work Friday, March 6th in support of Lake City Early Childhood Center’s Read Across America Week.

The Lady Panthers will return to action on the field in the annual alumni game this Saturday, February 29th at 5:30 pm.
