Wrestlers Sweep Tri-Match

The Lake City wrestling team continued its hot streak by going 2-0 in a tri-match with Darlington and Cheraw.  The Panthers defeated Cheraw 49-27 and then dispatched host Darlington 55-24. Lake City travels to Bamberg-Ehrhardt today.  

JV Cheerleaders and JV Boys Basketball

The Lake City JV girls and boys were swept at Carolina Forest by scores of 17-24 and 41-45. The teams will travel to Georgetown Monday night.

Wrestlers 2-0 In Region VII-AAA

The Lake City wrestling team traveled to Myrtle Beach High School and left with a 48-30 victory to remain undefeated in Region competition. The Panthers head to Darlington tonight for a 6 PM match.

The Lake City High Lady Panthers notched their ninth win of the season Tuesday with a 56-41 win over Hemingway. The Lake City Panthers survived a second half scare Tuesday to take a 74-67 win over Hemingway. After jumping out to a 5-0 lead to start the game, Lake City led by nine points late in the second period, but turnovers allowed Hemingway cut the lead to 34-32 at the half. Lake City went on

Boys Fall To Hot Shooting West

The Lake City boys basketball squad came out firing on all cylinders but could not maintain that momentum as West Florence’s Jaylen Cameron dropped 26 points to lead the Knights to an 82-64 victory.  Larry Cooper scored 18 points and Clifton McFadden chipped in 13 markers to lead the Panthers.Lake City will face the loser

LPs Go Undefeated In Christmas Tournament

The Lady Panthers made quick work of rival Kingstree with a 64-31 beatdown in the Noon tipoff game.However,  Hephizbah High School (GA) gave a much better effort but the LPs were able to hold on for a 67-66 victory. Seniors Shaunice Fulmore and Fredricka Wilson led the team with 39 and 13 points respectively. (Photo
