Panthers Top Myrtle Beach In 13 Innings

The Lake City varsity baseball team traveled to Myrtle Beach High School for an early season acid test between two teams undefeated in Region VII-AAA play. Panthers Split Saturday

With beautiful sunny sixty degree weather, the varsity baseball team hosted Carvers Bay and Lamar for championship day of the Pepsi Classic Preseason Baseball Tournament.  For the Panthers, it was a tale of two games as they dropped Carvers Bay 12-2 in six innings before falling 2-7 versus Lamar. Cheerleaders Assist In Reading Program

The varsity cheerleaders assisted in the “Read Across America” initiative and celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday at Olanta Elementary School.  The cheerleaders dressed as various Dr. Seuss characters and read to classrooms to inspire the children to achieve their reading goals.  Great job ladies.
