2007 Lake City High School alumnus and owner of WEARhouse Screen Printing, Jay Owens, will be awarding Athlete of the Week T-shirts for outstanding performances during the 2016-17 school year. Spring Sports Practices Resume

Spring sports practices for grades 7-12 are set to resume Monday January 2 (Baseball & Soccer) and Tuesday January 3 (Softball).  Students need to listen to school announcements for any changes due to weather and MUST have a physical on file to participate.  These are not tryouts.  Current LCHS winter sport athletes are not expected

Lady Panthers Pick Up Win

The Lady Panthers Varsity Softball team returned from Lamar with a 9-3 victory. Briana VanHoose pitched a complete game to pick up the win. The offense was led by Hunter Lynn Nettles 3-4 , Kourtney Cox 3-4 and Erica Sebnick 2-4 with an RBI in a 13 hit effort. Malan Wilson went 1-2 with 4-stolen
